March 22

This morning we all got up semi early to go to the mission school to do a week of prayer for them. Each morning this week a group of the students are going to be putting on a program for them. But this morning we all went. Some of the students gave their testimonies and we even showed part of the Go Tell it on the Mountain DVD. It so very hot in the room and we were watching a very cold DVD J Four of the students played a song with their instruments. Afterwards a few of the guys tried to ride William’s unicycle. It was great fun.

This evening I went with Jonathan Sharley to his church. They prepared a wonderful meal for us. He usually eats by himself but there was enough food for four people. And it was really good. I am going to miss the food here a ton.

The thing I like about Sharly is that he is a man of prayer. He walks into the back door praising God and telling the devil to get out. And he means it. It’s powerful. The message was on the Millennium. He did a wonderful job presenting it. He looked at his notes less than anyone else I can remember. His village is mostly Adventist, but he had 12 people that committed to baptism the other night!! Very exciting. He is really working on learning the language, and the people really enjoy it. They really appreciate him and call him “Pastor Jonathan.”
