Today was pretty fun. After worship I got to go with Scott, Alonna, and Mr. Luchek to Kota Kinabalu. We did some shopping for food for breakfasts. The place we went to had a lot of western brands, so we could know what we were getting :) Then we went to the mall to get lunch. The mall was huge!!! It was four stories tall and the food court filled the whole basement. It was like half the size of a Wal-Mart packet full of restaurants and people. We ate at a vegetarian place. There is a constant line. They give you a plate of rice and you can put anything you want on it. They have tons of tofu and gluten. It was really great food. Afterwards while Scott and Alonna went and did something else Mr. Luchek and I went shopping. It was a ton of fun. I got two nice shirts. I really like them.
In the evening I went with Luke to his church. We went up the same road I have gone up this week. Then we turned off and went down the same road as Jourdain and Jenny. But this time we had a big 4X4, so it was a much more comfortable ride :) we turned on to another road just before Jourdain’s church and went up the valley. It was a very rough ride. But it was worth it. The church was very nice. one of the nicest I have seen yet. One of the three special music’s was about 12 little kids singing “Dare to be a Daniel” in English. It was really cute.
When he got up to do his health talk his computer wasn’t working so he had to do it by memory. He did a very impressive job. It was on Charcoal. Then he preached a great sermon on the change of the Sabbath. Tons of fun!
