March 18

Today was another relaxing day. Not much happened.
I got to go with Jourdain and Jenny tonight. The lady who picked us up was not expecting three people. She came with a car like a Geo Metro and had two kids in the back seat! So i packet in the front with the computer case and a backpack on my lap with my knees in my chest and the others got in the back. Jourdain was complaining about his legs falling asleep :) Imagine four people crammed in to a space where two people fit well. We headed up the mountain toward where i have gone the last two days. I was afraid we wouldn't make it up the hill. The tire kept scraping on something in the back. We were going most of the was in second gear! Then we turned off the road and headed down into a valley. It was really really steep! I was really scared that the breaks might give out. It was honestly that bad. But we made it safe. Jourdain said he had talked to them about an extra person coming today, but apparently that didnt get communicated. So they only had plates and food for two. Thankfully i brought some granola bars just in case :)
This is the first site i have been to that had some one doing health talks. So before Jourdain got up Jenny talked about the dangers of Alcohol. Then Jourdain preached an awesome sermon on the Sabbath. His translator was really good. He has been translating since he was thirteen! It is his joy and passion. The people in the village were some of the nicest i have met yet. Steven, the head elder, was especially hospitable. We talked for almost twenty minuets after the meeting. Really encouraging.
Thankfully the translator drove us back in a larger car and we mad it back safely. He talked all the way back about some of the history and current state of Church activity in the area. Very inspiring. Praise God for His servants!!!
