We left Sunday at 2 pm and spent the night at a church near the airport. Unfortunately one of the groups flew out at 6 am so we all had to get up at 1:30 to make it to the air port on time! Let me tell you that we did not get very much sleep :) And on top of that the group I was in did not fly out until 11:30. So we went to Dennys and had a warm breakfast :) there were only seven of us, so it was quite fun :)
We had a lay over in LAX and saw the new Airbus A380. Now that is a big plane.
After a 6 hour flight we made it to the campus where we are staying at about 9pm, just in time to head to bed.
because we were flying west late in the evening we had a sunset that lasted for about four hours! pretty amazing :)
i am looking forward to being able to see every thing in the day light.
