it was very difficult to wake up this morning. this was our last day going up north for this week so we had to get up early again. worship went later then normal so we had to hurry breakfast. thankfully they gave us a little more time to finish.
we went to the same beach that they went to yesterday. we parked up on the road and had to carry everything down the trail to the beach, then across the beach to some awesome rocks. it was hard to lug every thing across the sand.
the waves were very large and crashed hard on the rocks. the spray was awesome! we were able to do two songs before lunch. it took a long time to do the first one because it kept raining. its hard to judge the weather because it will rain hard for four minutes and then turn sunny. all the students had to suffer through it. they are tough kids :)
we had a great lunch provided by the kitchen staff. they have done such a wonderful job with all the food. they sure do work hard!
Jordan and i went up the beach a ways and played in the water a little. but the waves were big and the currents strong, so we didnt get in very far :) you have to play it safe.
after lunch we pounded out two more songs. we finished right before sundown. a very long day! every one is crazy tired. we didnt get back to the camp until after 8pm! now that is late. we didnt even have a proper worship, just had a few quick announcements and sent everyone off to bed.
thankfully we have tomorrow off! worship isnt until 8 am! i am very happy about that.
Nathan and i stayed up late making sure we divided up every one so they could do the activities they wanted to to. right now it is 2 in the morning. another life in the day of a dean:) thats how we work.
we have now done 24 out of 39 songs and are all caught up and are on schedule.
