March 26 day 12

Happy Sabbath!
this morning i went with the group to church. there were about forty of us. there are two churches on the island and we went to the closer one. the people were very friendly. for church service one of the students gave a short testimony then everyone sang two songs. after that one of the other staff gave a sermon. after wards we had a wonderful potluck.
when we got back to the camp most everyone went their cabins and rested. but one of the students and i decided to go on a hike. there is a small creek that runs down from the mountains and right behind our cabins. we cut some bamboo staffs so we could walk up the creek. it was very pretty. we had a grand time. after about an hour we decided to get out and find our way back to camp. we found a way up the bank but i saw a roof so i decided that we should walk down the bank a little instead of coming up is some ones back yard. but we quickly saw another roof, then a third. so i decided that we shouldn't bother to try and dodge them all and should just get out in the open and find our way back. so we walked out in the open...... and right into the middle of camp :) what took us an hour to go up took four minutes to get back to our cabin. i thought that was pretty funny :)
we had a great supper. the food has been great on this trip. the kitchen crew are awesome!
around 9 pm we realized that one of the groups that had gone hiking had not made it back yet. so after trying to contact them and some deliberation Scott and i decided to drive to where they had parked to see what we could find out. but soon after we left we got a call that they were on their way home safe and sound. they had just been caught out after dark and it took a while to get back. thankfully nothing bad had happened.
it is kind of ironic that two years ago on the Steps to Christ tour a group and gone hiking and were late so Scott and i had gone out to find them. they got back safe as well. funny that this is the second time :)
Mr. Lemon came back tonight. we is looking very good. praise the Lord for His mercies.
we are back on the set tomorrow. thankfully we are filming closer so we don't have to be to worship until 7:30am! thats so posed to last all week. we might actually get some rest this week :)
only five more says of filming! thats crazy. we are two thirds finished.
i was talking to the driver of the ambulance yesterday and he said that he knows of some people that live on the wast side that have not been to the north side for 15 or 20 years!! i have been here for two weeks and am starting to get fidgety :)
