well, we got up early this morning so that we could go up the mountain, but at breakfast we found out that the weather was not going to work with us so we went to the beach instead :) but one of the tires on the cube van that carries all of our equipment got a flat tire. so we had to rent a new one (dont know why we didnt just change the tire) and got everything transferred over. so that set us back a lot.
one of the guys in my cabin wasnt feeling very well at all this morning so i stayed back with him. finally got a few pictures of the place. it is very beautiful here! we are staying on a Seventh-Day Adventist school grounds that also has quiet a few cabins for groups just like us :)
since the sick fellow slept most of the morning i was able to go shopping Jeremy. nothing special, just Costco. strange being in a tropical country but still be in America.
there are a lot of lifted trucks. reminds me of Utah :)
the sick fellow was feeling a lot better by lunch so we went to the filming location with the lunch crew. the students had been filming in a cove and were in the full sun for the whole morning and were getting quite red :) in the after noon they just turned around and filmed in the other direction :) so full sun again. but it sure was pretty! the trio of guys that were singing got pushed over by the waves a few times. great fun.
because we started so late we were only able to film two songs instead of the usual three. so it looks like our free day scheduled for Friday might get rescheduled. o well, thats what we are here for.
when we got back a couple of guys and i went swimming in the pond here on campus. was wonderful to get in the water!
we have to get up early in the morning because we have almost an hour drive. always looking forward to the next adventure :)
