Day 4 march 18

Got up at 6am and left early for one of the wettest places on earth. It averages over 400 in. of rain a year! So, needless to say, it was too wet to film J so we went back down the mountain a ways to an over look of the Waimea canyon. A beautiful view! Look it up on the internet. My camera cannot catch the grandeur of it all.

After a quick filming there we packed up again and went back up the mountain to see if it had cleared up enough. It hadn’t. But we set up any way hoping that it might clear soon. It drizzled about 90% of the time. Thankfully it wasn’t cold, but it got a little miserable after a while. Lunch showed up around 2 pm and we ate. Right afterward it cleared up nicely and we were able to see the view. We could see right down to the ocean! But there was just too much mist and they couldn’t keep it off the camera lenses. So we packed everything up again and headed back home. So only one short song today. Kind of disappointing, especially since we had to get up so early. I believe we are three songs behind now. But its all good J

We made it back around five. Some went to the beach for a bit, some played soccer, and the rest of us just went back to camp and chilled out.

There is a group here from San Diego Adventist Academy who joined us for worship. I spoke about Samuel and how he stood like a pillar for the Lord when the rest of Israel was in apostasy. You should read about him in Patriarchs and Prophets. What do you think he was doing after Eli died and the Ark of God was missing for seven months?

I am really looking forward to tomorrow. We are going to go hiking for most of the day then we have a concert in the evening. We have been passing out lots of flyers to the people that stop by and watch us. I think there are going to be a lot of people there. Should be another exciting day.
