Well's Gray

for our next to last camp out we were able to take the students to a wonderful Provencal park called Well's Gray. its about 4 hours north of the school. that was the furthest north i have been yet. we had about 50 students that stayed at the main camp site and 20 that went on the lake canoeing. we all had a grand time.
Friday went hiked to this spring that bubbled out carbonated water! we brought along some juice crystals and added them to our bottles and it tasted just like soda.
on Sabbath afternoon we went to an amazing water fall. i have seen a lot of water falls and this one truly great. after a quick stop at the observation deck we hiked around the back side and got a closer look. the group i was with jogged most of the way in the rain.
right before we left Sunday morning we went to another water fall. the spring run off made it especially full.
i really enjoyed the north country. the forest we very diverse. i would love to spend a lot more time up there. we will see what the future holds. the students really had a great time as well. it was so nice to spend some time in the wilderness.
