i had worship for our deans meeting this morning and i took 1 Cor. and rewrote it from a deans point of view.hope you enjoy it.
1. Though I can deliver a great worship talk, but have not love I
sound just like the class bell.
2. And though I have great intuition, and can tell what a student is
thinking, and have wonderful advice at all times, and have not love, I
am nothing.
3. And though I work for little pay and pour all my energies into
planning activities and have not love, I am nothing.
4. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not
parade itself, is not puffed up;
5. Dose not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked,
thinks no evil;
6. Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7. Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8. Love never gives up. but our own intuition, it will fail, our own
words will fall short, our own understanding will not be complete.
9. We make judgments on the information we have.
10. But in the end God will make all things known, and our own ideas
will pass away.
11. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I
thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish
things.
12. Now we cant really see whats going on in the heart, its like a dim
glass, but soon God is going to make it all clear in His time.
13. And now the only three things that matter are faith, hope, and
love. But the greatest of these is love.
